…Of Things Past

Optimism, imagination and luck are the tricks to navigating this rambling 22,000-square-foot warehouse. They stock both low and high-end goods, such as a sleek Italian modern sofa with chrome legs for $1,520, (sells retail for $4,000). Dining tables are piled with vintage china, flatware (including some lovely specimens with bone handles) and glassware. Charming silver-plated serving pieces make sweet hostess gifts; a gravy boat can be had for $18, a pretty engraved tea tray for $25. They’ve expanded into the space across the hall (dubbed ...Of Things Past Too), which stocks such fine antiques as a French armoire with a centre mirror and lovely ormolu detailing for $4,800.
