This charmingly shambolic store is filled with the smell of incense—a pleasant change from musty clothes. True vintage pieces are few and far between, but the motley assortment of dresses (from $15) yields plenty of good buys, from a black and white polka-dot number to a knee-length floral frock in Indian cotton ($29 each). A few men’s tuxedo shirts are tucked beside the usual Kensington student standards: disco, western, Hawaiian and print button-downs (all starting at $10). More contemporary clothing includes knitted ponchos and sweaters (from $8), men’s golf shirts, and women’s blouses and sweaters (from $6) and jackets (from $15). Scarves made from Indian cotton are priced from $5 to $45.
