Larger than the landmark Spadina store which closed two years ago, McGregor’s Etobicoke outlet—warehouse in the basement, store on the second floor—carries in-house and other brands at 20 to 70 percent off regular prices. Three pairs of Nike or Calvin Klein athletic socks go for $10 and three pairs of Klein’s dress socks for $15. Sale socks sometimes shock with their unusual colours but go for as little as 99 cents. The store also carries a range of T-shirts, underwear and pajamas. Two plain, cotton McGregor T-shirts go for $16.50, three briefs for the same price.
