Mixer not mixing? Bring it to this west-end depot, where technicians will tell you if your small appliance is worth repairing. Mainstream brands—including Proctor-Silex, Cuisinart, Oster and De’Longhi—are among those officially serviced. Commonly sought spare parts—blender jars and blades, coffee carafes (all from $3)—are sold from bulk bins. Factory refurbished appliances and clearance sales (coffee makers, kettles and griddles) offer good value: a refurbished Sunbeam Heritage Series mixer, regularly $269.99, is $89.99. Everything comes with a three-month manufacturer’s warranty. The small scratch-and-dent area is worth checking out; a retro-look chrome toaster went for $15 (regularly $70). Campers, take note: reconditioned Coleman gear and parts—lanterns, stoves and the like—are also sold and repaired.
