The discounts at this Av & Dav bucket shop are practically spilling out onto the sidewalk where passersby can pick and choose from an expanse of gorgeous cut flowers that run eight row deep. Sweet pastel-hued roses range from $3.99 to 6.99 a bunch while big, brightly-coloured mums are snatched up to create quick-and-easy arrangements for just $3.99 per bundle. Popular stems such as lilies, gerbers and cut Malaysian orchids start at $2.99 a bunch. For bridal bouquets, 2 weeks notice is preferred but simple last minute arrangements can be whipped up on the spot by staff—pricing depends on the season and type of flowers chosen but the savings are always big.
