The store has 200 new items arriving daily in fall and spring, most of them less than two years old and all priced at about 25 to 50 per cent off retail. A rack set aside for designer pieces a grey cashmere Laurel suit at $400 (original price $1,600) and a Tahari suit marked at $150. In denim, Rock & Republic and Citizen brands start at $60. Eveningwear options include a Halston black evening dress at $75. Less chi-chi brands such as Banana Republic, Tommy Hilfiger and Liz Claiborne round out the offerings. Label- and budget-conscious fashionistas. Accessories can be hit-and-miss, but diligent scavengers might find a wooden boho necklace for $10.
