Hard-core shoppers flock to Paradigm’s sales, which consist of semi-regular blowouts for the likes of Club Monaco, Puma, Lacoste and Diesel, DKNY, Nike, Levi’s, Guess and Mexx, held at various venues. But be warned: the promise of deals, deals, deals usually means lineups, lineups, lineups. Expect Boxing Day–style queues at the entrance, formidable wait times to use the communal fitting rooms, and another lineup at the cash. The payoff? Discounts of 60 to 90 per cent on up-to-date merchandise: Guess jeans go for $25, Levi’s Red Tabs can be had for $20 and Puma footwear is as low as $40.
