If your idea of a deal excludes anything over $20, then this generic cousin to the Gap might be your shopping mecca. Located in a dark cavern of the Eaton Centre, the store applies the fast food mentality to shopping: maximum volume and maximum anonymity. Salespeople, while helpful, have to be sought out in this vast space. The mix appeals to the entire family, from cable-knit shoulder bags ($24.50) to men’s lined cord jackets ($49.50) and maternity and infant wear. Striped dress shirts and reverse knit hoodies are priced at $34.50. Low-rise boot-cut jeans are made to suit a variety of body types ($29.50–$49.50).
