In the heart of south Riverdale, this tidy boutique is part and parcel of the ’hood’s gentrification: the designer clothes and high tin ceilings scream chi-chi, but the low prices bring things down to earth. Owner Harold Seligman buys fresh excess stock from the likes of Quickreflex, Lilibleu, 4 You and Manager jeans and then sells it at 40 to 70 per cent off retail. On a recent visit, men’s long-sleeved cotton Ts ($23) and women’s Manager stretch denim ($70) were on offer. Sheets, towels and made-in-Canada Parkhurst sweaters ($40) are also available.
