Five on Queen West

Tucked away in a subterranean space in the fashion district, this blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shop is one of the city’s best kept secrets. If you’re tired of seeing five other people wearing the top you bought at Zara, shop here, where the finds are both unique and well-priced. Some samples are up to 40 per cent off, from brands such as Paul Frank, BCBG, Bench and Full Circle. In addition to casualwear, jeans, evening dresses (a purple empire waisted dress by Sweeties with a beaded neckline was marked at $100, down from $200) and coats, there’s a small selection of accessories, including tribal-inspired jewellery ($10) and scarves from Paul Frank and WESC ($15–$20). For guys, there’s a large selection of Jack & Jones jeans ($69), outerwear and Firetrap sweaters. Sales occur at the end of each season.
Hours:
M–Th 11–7, F–Sa 11–8.
