WildWinds Golf Course

This course should finally draw GTA golfers to the Guelph area. Located at the highest point in Wellington County, this layout (especially the back nine) is reminiscent of Osprey Valley’s rugged links. It’s just as windy: given its lofty position, even a hint of a breeze suggests the origin of the name. The front nine is more like a woodlands course, with major terrain changes and very pretty scenery. The Speed River winds through the layout and lurks behind the green at the unique 10th. Here, a 340-yard downhill par four doesn’t sound like much of a challenge, but when you see your target, with its tiny neck of a fairway, you’ll be hunting for your eight iron.
