Tyandaga Golf Coursestarstar

If you prefer your courses hilly, short and inexpensive, Tyandaga’s for you. There is not a flat lie to be found anywhere on this municipal course, except at the tee boxes. The par fives are all under 500 yards from the tips, and two are less than 450 yards, so even average hitters can feel like pros, going for the green in two. The five par threes are all between 139 and 168 yards, and therefore test only a narrow range of iron shots. Still, this is a fun course because of the rolling terrain and the often tight, tree-lined fairways. There are interesting shots from elevated tee boxes, particularly the mid-iron you’ll need to play on the par three 13th: it will have to carry over a creek to a tiny green in a forested vale.
