Sunnybrae Golf Coursestarstar

Sunnybrae, made up of three nine-hole courses, may not be the flashiest, but there is an undisputed highlight—the sixth on the Meadow course. Though the hole is just 150 yards long, club selection is crucial; short will get you wet, and long will leave you with a tricky sand shot facing the water. The fifth hole on the Creek course, a 470-yard par four, offers another challenge: a dogleg left that leads to the layout’s pretty forested section. The rest of the course plays wider and shorter, and taking out a long iron is without a doubt the most prudent move. Try to keep this in mind on the Meadow’s 250-yard, par four ninth. The narrow fairway and the pond in front of the green can easily steal par away from you.

Three nine-hole courses: Meadow, 2,923, par 36; Creek, 2,985 yards, par 35; Links, 3,029 yards, par 36
