Although not a long course, Trehaven is a popular stop for those heading to cottage country—it’s a chance to get in a quickie before hitting the lake. A simple layout suited to novices and intermediates alike, it has few bunkers guarding small, flat greens, although the water hazards sprinkled throughout should keep you on your toes. These are evident on the 417-yard, par four ninth: regardless of where you’re standing for your approach, a pond on the front right edge of the green is sure to prompt contemplation.
