The opening holes on Timber Ridge (the Timber nine) consist of very tight tree-lined fairways and a creek that winds its way into play on three holes. Despite the name, the Hawk Ridge nine are generally Saskatchewan flat. If you still have golf balls left, you will find the holes mercifully wide open. Members prefer the Meadow Nest course, which is longer and fairly tight all the way around. Its 10th and 12th holes share a rare double green, so be careful which pin you’re aiming at. An executive nine, Hawk’s Island is all par threes, with the signature hole (number five) featuring an island green with bunkers on both sides.

45 holes. Meadow Nest: 18 holes, 7,008 yards, par 72. Timber Ridge: 18 holes, 6,531 yards, par 71. Hawk’s Island: nine holes, 1,500 yards, par 27
