Dentonia Parkstar

Dentonia Park is irons only—no woods or metal woods are allowed on the course. The good news is that you likely won’t need a driver at this city-run par three course: 13 holes are between 93 and 112 yards, and only two are more than 140 yards. Conveniently located near Victoria Park station, Dentonia is ideal for young beginners who don’t have access to a car. Clinics and camps run throughout the summer. Don’t try the trick of signing up for a foursome, coming as a twosome and claiming the other two guys are sick. The starter here is ruthless and will hold you back until he can pair you up.

18 holes, 2,176 yards, par 54
