A recent $2-million reno has combined the best of the old (murals of the ancient world, year-round outdoor hot springs, indoor saltwater pool) with sleek and serene new decor at this destination spa. Five local wineries have each sponsored one of the new treatment rooms, some of which are decorated with a vinous theme (old barrels, photos of vineyards). Local grapes are used in vinotherapy treatments, such as the purple feet pedicure, which softens skin. Before each treatment, guests lounge in front of a stone fireplace. Most of the 122 rooms in the inn have recently been updated.
