Arowhon Pines

  • 705-633-5661 • 866-633-5661
Set on the shores of Little Joe Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park, Arowhon Pines is firmly off the beaten track, located at the end of an eight-kilometre private woodland road. Look across the lake and all you see is trees—and maybe a loon. Loyal guests return for the famed Algonquin scenery and the hearty meals: such comfort foods as baked ham with scalloped potatoes, and banana cream pie made from scratch, all served in the lakefront log dining room. Although there are 50 guest bedrooms spread among 13 cabins, the resort never feels crowded. A fleet of small Sunfish sailboats, plus kayaks and canoes, are free for guests to use. There are no radios or televisions, but bookshelves in the cabins are well stocked. Larger cabins each have a lounge with a stone fireplace.
