This 19th-century stone farmhouse, set on 139 acres of land with ponds and waterfalls, is a gorgeous location for a cooking school. Lessons and wine tastings take place in the modern demonstration kitchen. At a winter class, the menu might include curried pumpkin and pear soup, followed by sea bass encrusted with potato on a bed of greens, and finished with a chocolate gâteau with chocolate sauce. Students eat everything they learn to make. Take a break from the food in one of the elegant period guest rooms. Ten-person minimum required.
