With rooms that are easily as comfortable as most Niagara-on-the-Lake hotels (but a fraction of the price), this recently opened B&B is a great deal. Located within walking distance of the Shaw Festival in the town’s heritage district, it’s a spacious newer home, though it blends in well with its older neighbours. Sunny rooms overlook ample gardens: room one (the largest of the three) has plenty of floor space for a morning yoga stretch, while room two has a spacious bathroom with a soaker tub surrounded by hand-painted tiles, a separate shower and double sinks. Wi-fi and iPod jacks are in each room; a television is in the guest lounge—along with a fridge for chilling your winery purchases. Guests may enjoy a glass of gewurtz on a small, vine-draped patio. Morning coffee and newspapers are laid out on the landing before breakfast. Yellow lab Trigger provides a gentle welcome.
