Situated at the tip of a peninsula near Jackson’s Point, this luxurious B&B offers expansive views of the lake. In the front hall hangs a portrait of Toronto Evening Telegram editor Irving Robertson (son of Victorian tycoon John Ross Robertson), who had the place built in 1928. The Queen Room, originally Robertson’s study, comes well equipped with a gas fireplace and queen-size brass bed. The terrace room features a king-size four-poster bed and a deck overlooking the water. Breakfast is served in the atmospheric panelled dining room. Nearby Corner House Bistro (905-476-4800) is a popular dinner spot.
