The stately 1836 home has long been a successful B&B and a favourite with wedding parties. There’s a waterfall and fish pond in the private English garden, and beautiful furnishings indoors. A pair of second-floor guest rooms feature ensuite baths. The Provence room is aptly named for its vibrant colours: yellow-wash walls and a bright blue and yellow coverlet over the four-poster queen bed. The recently renovated basement offers rooms for longer stays. The owners will happily arrange a cruise on their 38-foot sailboat.
