Though Sun Valley is known as a one-stop grocery shop, unusual products are its forte. For a lively salad, try Emeril’s spring mix, with real wasabi leaves. In produce, there are fresh tomatillos, key limes and gooseberries. In the centre of the store, a circle of refrigerators display takeout salads, cheeses from around the world, and superb cut meats, including pork, veal, chicken and beef, plus whole rabbits. Rare balsamics can be found alongside a small refrigerator, which is stocked with caviar, foie gras, truffles and a variety of truffle oils and pâtés.
