Shopping at this Rosedale supermarket is a treat. The produce is plentiful, and the prepped foods are famed. The meat counter carries marinated flank steaks and flattened chickens; marinated beef and chicken kebabs don’t cost much more than those at the grocery chains. Organic Irish salmon is the draw to an otherwise limited fish counter. The cheese selection usually promotes a few patriotic rounds (raw-milk Maple Dale cheddar, for example). House breads are trumped by Ace Bakery loaves, and sweets are brought in from Dufflet and Rahier.
