Michael - Angelo's Marketplace

In the era of chain supermarkets, it’s a pleasure to find such a lovely independent grocery store still going strong. Produce is a specialty, as is a vast selection catering to an ethnically diverse community, so loquats, mangoes and medjool dates are all on hand, at reasonable prices. Hot prepared foods—Shanghai noodles, pierogies and wonderfully crisp stone-baked calzones—appeal to all palates. The deli case is approximately 30 yards long, and all of Michael-Angelo’s beef is either triple-A Alberta or exceptionally marbled black Angus. The collection of bottled anchovies is truly impressive.
