Carlo Ciarla and Melva Buell’s cooking keeps customers coming back. The laid-back pair practises a culinary theory that centres on spoiling their customers. Refrigerators and freezers line the walls, packed with Italian favourites and homespun soups. Lasagna is made with ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan and Carlo’s extra-meaty sauce. Soups come in returnable jars: cucumber with mint, borscht and black bean gazpacho, to name a few.
