This sprawling, packed-to-the-rafters shop will impress even the most seasoned shopper. The left side is full of prepared foods: six types of rösti (crab is the most popular choice); 10 different Indian dishes; five kinds of roasted chicken breast, ranging from tandoori to teriyaki; a multitude of antipasti; more than 100 crisp, fresh salads; not to mention savoury tarts and crêpes galore. There’s also a first-rate cheese counter, and the meat selection features superb serrano ham. At the deli counter, Beretta’s roast beef is ready for slicing.
