Girls line up for sugar and spice and all things nice at Toronto’s first cupcake bakery. Inside the dainty pink shop, an in-house baker makes 100 per cent nut-free confections from scratch each morning. Tiered cake plates display the whimsical fruits of her labour: some festooned with gummy bears, others simply adorned in the Shoppe’s candy-coloured assortment of buttercream icings. Give them a little notice (24 to 48 hours) and the team will whip up some custom-made cupcakes and cakes as you please, and even deliver them to your door for an extra fee.
