Madeleines, Cherry Pie and Ice Cream

This inviting café delights first-time visitors. Old-fashioned glass jars of macaroons and crispy phyllo praline cigars make you feel like a kid in a (sophisticated) candy store. Pâtissière Kyla Eaglesham opened her shop five years ago (though she has been planning it since she won her first pie-baking contest at the age of six) and offers tasty treats (sweet and savoury pies and charlottes). Ice cream from local producers is another draw. Made­leines also has a few tables and a garden patio for weekend brunch.
