Owner Mary Falinski has trouble keeping up with the demand for her homestyle baking. She makes croissants, date squares and butter tarts daily, and also offers a good selection of whole grain and sourdough breads. But it is her pies that steal the show: best-sellers include banana cream and raisin. Her elaborately decorated cakes—chocolate tortes and white chocolate mousse cakes—are also crowd-pleasers. In addition to the sweet stuff, a newly expanded café serves breakfast, lunch and high tea.
