For 32 years, Toronto dessert aficionados have turned to Dufflet Rosenberg—dubbed the Queen of Cake—for exquisite cakes and pastries at reasonable prices. Signature cakes range from a light-as-air lemon parfait topped with clouds of whipped cream to a rich chocolate truffle cake with a dark chocolate glaze. Buttery meringues, Rosenberg’s all-time favourite sweet indulgence, include a toasted almond version and delectable hazelnut numbers with rich coffee buttercream and coffee whipped cream. Keep an eye out for seasonal offerings, such as a strawberry mousse heart-shaped cake for Valentine’s Day, brandy pumpkin cheesecake for Thanksgiving and a festive bûche de Noël for Christmas.
