Athens Pastries

For more than 25 years, this little shop has been providing customers with excellent Greek pastries. The spanakopita are flaky and light, not greasy. But there are plenty of lesser known treats: bougatsa consists of layers of phyllo filled with custard; loukoumades are highly addictive doughnut-style honey balls. Aspiring chefs are able to buy fresh phyllo dough for home use. Greek beer and coffee are among the imported products on the shelves.
