Going strong for 28 years, this iconic Bloor Street shop has kept its winning formula: lots of cream, good ingredients and plenty of sticks for sampling. Retro flavours are back, from banana rum to coconut, malted vanilla and pumpkin at Halloween. You won’t get a taste of the exclusive roasted cashew (“It’s ridiculously expensive,” says owner Greg Mahon) unless you are lucky on a visit to Truffles or Studio Café, but the old favourites like roasted marshmallow keep you sated throughout the year.
