Just past its second birthday, this is a neighbourhood corner store for the eco-conscious urbanite. The space has tripled in size since it opened, creating more room for organic, fair-trade and local basics. There’s produce from Ted Thorpe and fruit from Wiecha, Beretta Organic Farms meats, Evelyn’s Crackers and a great selection of bulk granola, grains, nuts and seeds. Housewares help reduce plastic consumption; check out glass baby bottles, bamboo cutting boards and stainless steel lunch containers.
