More than 20 varieties of fresh-looking, exotic fruit are brought in from afar. The little shop is abuzz with customers fawning over wedges of watermelon-sized jackfruit and fuzzy red rambutans. Others are deciding between rose apples and June plums. Or maybe some crisp sapodillas or plump passion fruit. The unmistakable scent of durian overwhelms the shop.
