Enticing and colourful produce is the raison d’être of this family-run store. Brought in fresh every day from the Ontario Food Terminal are such hard-to-find items as black truffles, fresh porcini, pumpkin cauliflower and sea asparagus. Owner Tony Di Marco makes twice-yearly pilgrimages to his mother country, where he’s on a first-name basis with producers. So trust him when he gives advice on the right ingredients for an authentic Italian spaghetti sauce.
