Harvest Wagon

Enticing and colourful produce is the raison d’être of this family-run Rosedale shop. Brought in fresh every day from the Ontario Food Terminal, goods include such hard-to-find items as black truffles, fresh porcini, pumpkin cauliflower and sea asparagus. At the back of the shop, there are freshly squeezed juices, plus olive oils and pastas imported from Italy. Owner Tony Di Marco makes twice-yearly pilgrimages to his mother country, where he’s on a first-name basis with producers. So trust him when he gives advice on the right ingredients for an authentic Italian spaghetti sauce.
