Owner and fishmonger Laurie Hamilton chats with her customers while scaling fish behind the counter. One side of her small case is filled with fresh fillets, the other half with smoked mackerel, trout, salmon, wild Canadian sturgeon roe and pâté. Hamilton also stocks live lobsters as well as a choice of the best seafood-related dry goods: saffron for paella, arborio and sushi rice, anchovies, canned clams and edamame. Her salmon is among the best in the city.
