Fishmonger Frank Yoon’s motto is “Fresh first and a reasonable price,” and it’s won him a loyal customer base. There are plenty of mostly wild-caught whole fish (red or pink snapper, sea bass, pickerel), and the fillets, typically cut on-site to maintain quality, may include Arctic char from Iceland and Alaskan black cod. P.E.I. mussels, littleneck clams and Malpeque oysters sit on ice, as do fresh whole squid. Live lobsters are from Nova Scotia.
