This is the place to buy those hard-to-find Middle Eastern ingredients, from pomegranate molasses to preserved lemon to vanilla sugar. Best of all are the tubs of impeccably firm and fresh olives: there are true kalamatas and jumbo greens perfect for martinis. Then there are the many fetas to choose from, and the wonderful Persian flatbread—come on a Saturday morning, when it’s still steamy from the oven.
