This Yorkville shop contains every imaginable cooking essential, plus a huge variety of gourmet treasures, all selected with great care. A floor-to-ceiling spice shelf, along with an area devoted to loose-leaf teas sold in bulk, lines one wall. Imported oils and aged vinegars gleam in a glass cabinet. Unusual finds include black-and-white bow tie pasta from Italy. Dried mushrooms, assorted fleur de sels and a house line of salad dressings are other specialties. Rounding out the offerings are prepared foods, a deli and cheese counter, and tempting baked treats.
