This mini-chain carries Korean, Japanese and Chinese supplies and prepared foods for gastronomic fans of everything pan-Asian. There are endless varieties of seaweed, from salty snacks to sushi wraps, as well as noodles long and short, fat and thin, brown and white, made of buckwheat, yam or just about whatever strikes your fancy. Rice, bean curd, miso and teas are abundant, and the condiment aisle offers cooking sake, ponzu sauce and raw royal jelly honey. Frozen oxtails, pork belly and beef ribs are cut Korean style, and dried treats include beans, squid and persimmons. In produce, customers find burdock root, perilla leaves and cute little ho bak squash.
