Disregard the lacklustre surrounds—it’s all about the frozen treats (ice creams, sorbets and kulfis), and there are plenty to choose from. The standbys are well represented, but the shop (and burgeoning wholesale business) is known for its more exotic offerings, from tangy soursop ice cream to fragrant rose faluda kulfi (rosewater and basil seeds). Velvety coconut ice cream (a blend of Thai coconut milk and pieces of young water coconut) and pistachio kulfi (flavoured with cardamom and Spanish saffron) are customer favourites.
