Thin Blue Line Cheese

The offerings here focus on artisanal raw- and pasteurized-milk cheeses from Ontario and Quebec, though some French, Italian and Swiss treasures are available. Highlights include creamy Sauvagine—grand champion at the 2006 Canadian Cheese Grand Prix—and powerful Baluchon, both from Quebec. Of course, great cheese demands equally wonderful bread, such as one of the delightful Epi Bakery baguettes or loaves arrayed in the shop’s window.
