Cheeses here are mainly European, with an emphasis on French and Italian raw-milk products. And the variety is impressive: whether you serve a piquant French Papillon roquefort, an Italian aged pincion riserva or a smooth 10- to 12-year-old cheddar from Quebec, your cheese plate will leave them talking. If you want to taste, or need advice on pairing cheese and wine, just ask. If you sign up for the Fresh Program, the store will notify you when the French goat cheeses or Italian buffalo mozzarella and taleggio arrive. The well-stocked deli case features Parma prosciutto and serrano ham; the olive bar features specimens stuffed with blue cheese or anchovies.
