Local, organic, fair trade—it’s the yuppie-wooing trifecta. Throw in a cool font (Impact) on the sign out front, and the Trinity Bellwoods bocce ballers can’t stay away, either. Which explains why an otherwise unpretentious coffee shop is often jammed with dishevelled scenesters, as well as iPod-toting toddlers and their Mac-wielding parents. Fortunately, the stairs to the airy seating area, which features a wall-size map of Toronto circa 1967, dissuade all but the most determined stroller jockeys. That said, we love this place and its cinnamon-laced iced tea and artfully frothed lattes. Free Wi-Fi.
