I Deal Coffee

The second location, on Ossington, isn’t as hard to find as the Kensington Market café (look for the atomic coffee cup sign in the window), and it’s more mellow. All the better to linger over a newspaper while buying beans, which are roasted daily at the Kensington location. Nothing is labelled, so shopping here always involves a personal interaction with staff, who readily explain the merits of the eight varietals on hand, including the roasty Prince of Darkness and clean-finish Around the World, from Ethiopia. A latte or a plain coffee is included with the purchase of a pound of beans. Free Wi-Fi.
