In this slick space, chrome fixtures overhead show off the raison d’être: chocolates. Though Stubbe is known for its truffles, made with Callebaut Belgian chocolate, we’re quite taken with the store’s selection of things pretty and practical. Almond sugar cookies, wrapped plainly in Cellophane and jewel-hued ribbon, crumble and dissolve in the mouth to reveal a whisper of flavour that is pure, buttery and unadulterated.
