Tasting classes at this popular Dupont shop have inspired a new line of chocolates: owner Jenn Stone unveiled six single-origin truffles whose unique flavours are influenced by their geographic origin. Chocolate manufacturer Michel Cluizel’s Los Ancones truffle from Santo Domingo is woody, with a licorice and red currant finish; Mangaro from Madagascar tastes of honey and citrus. Stone is also showcasing famously exclusive (and expensive) Porcelana and Chuao chocolates by Italian house Amedei (single-origins sell for $2.65 apiece, compared to $1.45 for the regular line). For the old herb- and tea-infused favourites that have won praise from critics and hedonists alike, Stone is now growing many herbs (from lavender to rosemary and cilantro) in her own garden. Closed Sunday.
