Like a little piece of Paris on an austere strip of College, this narrow shop (two adults and one souped-up stroller fill the space) beckons passersby with its quaint awning and wooden bench, where locals linger over a hunk of Thuet baguette. The pristine display case—crowded with artisanal cheese from P.E.I., Holland, Greece, Spain and B.C.—can be bewildering, but well-versed staff can help with recommendations. Raw milk cheeses from France and Quebec are specialties.
