This no-nonsense farmer-owned butcher shop existed long before Rowe Farms rolled into Roncesvalles. Everything is free-range, certified organic or locally produced. Plump breasts and large eggs from free-range chickens come from the Lipiec farm in Smithville, Ontario. Eramosa Farms provides free-range elk (steaks, prepared stew and sausages). Beretta Organic Farms products include certified organic pastrami and peameal bacon. Bison, triple-A beef, Ontario spring lamb, and frozen beef and chicken bones are also available. Crown roasts, honey-glazed hams and free-range turkeys can be ordered.
